Microsoft
Microsoft's site is jam packed full of information and the like as you'd expect this site has all the JScript stuff as well as information on Internet Explorers' Java capability. Also has Microsofts' Java Software Developers Kit and also information on Microsofts' J++ (a top product).

Gamelan
Absolutely hundreds of Java Applets and examples here, this site is a massive resource and is probably (in my opinion) the best place to find a lot of easily downloadable Java components. Also has a lot of non-Java stuff here.

Independant Java Users Group for Greater London
Something I saw in PC Pro one day. This is another top Java site although, as yet I haven't had time to give it a proper once over. Give it a go anyway!
